Coming this week....
I have not had alot of free time this week but I plan on adding book reviews to the blog later this week-nothing special,just books I have read and hold in high esteem.If anyone has any suggestions for book titles to review,I am open to them!I am blogging the best I can with a very slow dialup connection but rumor has it us people in the sticks may be getting DSl soon-stay tuned!

You avoid talking bad about firefighters here, but you're big and bad on your buddy Joe Albero's slimy site, where he can protect and coddle you. There's no sense for me to reply to your post over there. Joe will just delete it, and replace it with a post he made pretending to be a FF. (We have confirmed that he does that. We have proof. On more than one occasion he has forgotten to log out as JA and posted what he wanted to look like an anomonous post from someone else.) If you would do some checking instead of swallowing whole whatever Joey boy feeds you, you would find out the truth. Wayne did not cut a deal. He got off! A Probation Before Judgement is just that. If he stays away from that asshole for 90 days, records of this mess dissapear. Should he be stupid and not do that, the trial is back on and will proceed on its original merits. He is not automatically convicted. Lets do some math here. He had the opportunity to walk out the door with NO FINE, $90 in court costs. and all charges dissapearing off his record in 3 months. Or he could go thru the headache and expense of coming back another day- which would cost him alot more than 90 bucks, and the only possible improvement would to not pay the court costs. Kinda sounds like a no-brainer to go that way, doesn't it? Oh, by the way, do you agree with Joe's misleading (and false) headline about this, that implies that he has had inappropriate contact with a child, as in pedophilia? His whole post, including his false posts where he poses as local firefighters was a thinly veiled attempt to try to get Wayne fired and doing somethng stupid. And there you go, niavely buying into it all, like so many others. Wayne has been a dedicated (FREE) public servant for a number of years, and has been directly involved in saving many lives of children and adults alike. But you choose to drink the Salisbury News kool-aide, and unjustly malign him. Totmom, I don't doubt you are a good person at heart, but you are VERY NAIVE and a POOR JUDGE OF CHARACTER. Have a nice day, and remember if your house is on fire or you have another major emergency, it will be Wayne Barrell getting out of bed in the middle of the night to help you, not Albero.
I have nothing against firefighters-anyone who knows me can tell you that I lost a family member in the line of duty (VFD) but its low to attack a little boy just because of who his grandfather is.I am defending a child!I dont know Joe on a personal level but any man who steps up and does the right thing by a child the way he has done with this boy has my respect.He could travel the world if he wanted but he isnt.Like it or not,Joe has also exposed alot of corrupt sh*t that would otherwise never have come to light.
As for Barrels case...you have to plead guilty to get PBJ.And with all due respect,Wayne Barrel wont be rescuing me anytime soon-I live in Somerset County,and we have the BEST volunteer firefighters and EMT's a backwoods county could hope for and I trust them with my life if it comes to that.
