"Serial Mom" aired on television tonight and out of all of John Waters' movies this one ranks up there in the top 3."Hairspray" & "Pecker" are one and two,respectively.
"Serial Mom" stars Kathleen Turner as a suburban Baltimore housewife who just snaps one day and starts murdering people.
Sam Waterston is her husband,and Ricki Lake and Mathew Lillard play her kids.Patty Hearst even has a cameo in this movie!Live scenes were filmed at Hammerjacks in Baltimore also.It is a very dark comedy and funny if you like offbeat movies.

Do you remember the movie "Mommy Dearest"? I still shutter to this day when I see a wire clothes hanger.
Ouch! I have actually never seen that movie in its entirety-but I read parts of the book the daughter wrote!
