Fletch

Every weekend TV Land channel airs movies.what they call "movieland" and tonight it is the 1985 comedy "Fletch" which introduced us to one of Chevy Chases best character roles, the master of disguise Irwin Fletcher, rogue journalist and avid Lakers fan.I admit I like the sequel,"Fletch Lives" much better but any Fletch is hysterical.Unlike alot of people I LIKE Chevy Chase and can appreciate his movies and that dry sense of humor he has.

If you like the movies you ought to read the books. They are good as well.
Most movies made from books are not as good IMO. Take Steven king for example. Many of his books, and short stories have been made into movies, and I like the book version better everytime.
Clive Cussler is another of my favorite writers. They made one movie years ago, Raise The Titanic that pretty much sucked. The last one, wasnt as bad but the biooks are always better. Just My opinion!!

Believe the author is Gregory Mcdonald. Tried to find my copy of the book but couldnt.
Another movie made from a book you may like is called The Hot Rock based on a book by Donald Westlake. He is another favorite author of mine.
I am still waiting for a Patricia Cornwell book to be made into a movie. Thought Potters Field was in the works, but havnt heard anymore about it in a while.
