Needless to say her son is upset and claims a passenger left the contraband in the car,but she isnt having any of that.She says she has received dozens of calls from supporters that include emergency room personnel and fellow parents who have praised her for being a responsible parent,and although the car has been sold,she will be running the classified ad for another week just for the positive feedback.
I personally think that while her son may feel differently,Mrs.Hambleton is an AWESOME parent and her spoiled kid will thank her someday when he is old enough to understand how stupid it is to drink and drive.Too many people have been killed and even if he wasn't drinking,its still illegal for him to have alcohol in the car anyways.She may be the worlds meanest Mom but at least when she sets the rules she is willing to back it up!WE need more mothers like this!

It is easy to talk about boundaries for our kids...but not enough actually follow through and enforce them. Maybe that will be the one lesson that helps that kid avoid an even bigger, perhaps fatal mistake. Good for her!
She doesnt make idle threats,thats for certain!
