Hail to the King

Today marks what would have been the 73rd birthday of The King of Rock n' Roll although alot of conspiracy wingnuts believe he is still alive somewhere,I am not one of them.He lived fast and burned bright and like all bright stars,he was extinguished too soon.Thousands still flock to Graceland annually to mourn him and pay their respects to him and despite being dead,he is still one of the richest celebrities in the world. His music has lived on and inspired many artists and in a sense,he remains alive in our hearts and minds.Again, there are people who doubt he died in 1977 and many have claimed to have spotted him in various parts of the world, but sadly,he is no longer with us.Tomorrow, starting at 6 am,Turner Movie Classics will air all of his most popular movies, including concert films,in his memory.
