Aidan Murray Medlin, age 12,got more than he bargained for on vacation in Florida for New Years, when he reeled in a 551 lb bull shark while out at sea fishing yesterday. The previous record bull shark in Florida was a 517 lb'er,caught in 1981.Young Mr.Medlin plans to submit his catch for a new state record.Atta boy!!!!!
Out of curiousity, what in the hell do you do with such a huge shark after you catch it?Pardon me for being a fish-ignorant fool, but can you EAT bull shark? Is there a market for it if you wanted to sell it?And I am assuming even if you can mount it,you would need one heckuva large rec room to hang it in.My guess is that it will end up preserved for posterity in a maritime museum.
