Like most weekday mornings,I was up very early with my husband and I have said this before,but why is it the really good movies you NEVER see are always on TV very very late at night?Turner Classic Movies usually shows old black & white movies but "Warriors" was on this morning!I love that movie!For those of you who only know it as a videogame and/or are under 30,it is a 1979 cult classic about a NYC gang framed for murder,who have to trek across the burroughs of NY back to their home turf in Coney Island,encountering other gangs,police and various obstacles along their way.It has a stellar soundtrack as do most movies of that era,and it inspired a very difficult videogame over 20 years after its release in theaters.If you have never seen it,you should really try to rent it or catch it on television.TCM channel is best because they air all movies uncut,but Spike channel occasionally airs the TV-edited version.

I love that movie also. I dont get TCM but do get AMC, and they show good movies now and then.
Warriors is an AWESOME movie!Just be warned if you try out the videogame,it is just like being in the movie but it is VERY hard!
