Doctor's trial postponed
The Daily Times reported this week that Dr.Mahmaud Shirazis trial,set to begin Wednesday,the 12th,has been postponed again.His new jury trial is set to begin January 14th of 2008.
In two previous,seperate cases,the charges were nolle prosecuted,meaning they were basically without merit and he was not found guilty.That alone just reaffirms my personal belief that he is not guilty of the crimes he is charged with.Again,after he was charged,other parties stepped forward to make similar claims against him,SEVERAL years after the alleged fact,which makes me believe that they just think he has a little bit of money and they are hoping for a civil suit against him.Time will tell....

I respect your opinion, however victims of abuse (sexual, mental, emotional) often come forward after someone else has already made allegations. That way they have backing, and they realize they are not alone. Only the victims and him know what happened. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
