Happy New Year everyone!2008 is here-WOW!We here stayed in and watched the ball drop-too many drunks on the road for me to go out anywhere tonight!I am making no other resolutions other than a promise to drink more water everyday lol.Thats it!I hope those of you who are getting sh*tfaced tonight are off the road and not letting others drive home drunk either!Also,today marks the 145th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation,in which President Lincoln decreed that slaves in rebellious states were free.Ironically,55 years earlier on this same date,Congress declared the African slave trade prohibited,but it continued to flourish.Theres a history nugget for you!Happy New Years!
