A Manhattan grocery store made shoppers do a double take earlier this week when they ran an advertisment proclaiming "Hams-delicious for Chanukah!" Uh-hello?!
A spokesperson for Balduccis on 14th Street said they would be reviewing its employee training procedures but I think all they need is a proofreader for their ads.For those of you who may not be familiar with Jewish dietary restrictions,all pork products are a major no-no,as are shellfish.There are some Jewish people who occasionally sample these forbidden fruits(and I am not naming names!LOL),but devout followers do not partake as a general rule.Which leaves me wondering what their next ad will be......."Sugar-great for diabetics!?" LOL Anyway folks,Happy Hannukah!
